Nurse

The health room is located in the main office. The Health Office Staff is here to offer aid and comfort to students who are feeling ill or have suffered an injury at school.

It is important to have updated contact numbers in the event of an emergency. Please make sure you are providing updated contact information to the Office Staff and the Health Office.

If a student has a chronic health problem such as headaches or allergies, parents must check with the nurse to fill out a release form so the student may take medications at school. Medicine that must be taken during school hours must be left with the nurse or health assistant in its original container. 

Students who have been hospitalized will be readmitted to A Montoya following a meeting with the school nurse or the counselor. The nurse or counselor will provide appropriate follow-up with the student’s teachers to coordinate any assistance that might be needed.
